A Coastal Craft Spirits Brand

TueRto®

“Crafted where the tide meets the trail.”

Tuerto is the spirits brand of Captain Jack Tuerto: sailor, storyteller, and spirit maker. Each release reimagines heritage spirits through coastal craft and rogue technique. The Cask Adrift series is where that vision comes to life.

The Story

Jack's Drift is more than a spirit. It's a journey in a bottle. Inspired by the slivovice Jack discovered in Czech kitchens during his years of wandering, this botanical spirit reimagines that tradition through a coastal lens.

Every batch is personally overseen by Jack, built on intentionally selected, sustainably sourced botanicals. Each is vapour-infused through a gin basket: Citra hops for their bright, citrusy character; coriander seeds for warmth and spice;fresh orange peel for zesty brightness; and organic Earl Grey tea for its distinctive bergamot note.

The heart of the spirit carries a rich plum character, its sweetness and acidity balancing the botanical intensity. A charred oak spiral from a rum cask adds depth and complexity: the ghost of Caribbean sugarcane mingling with Devon stone fruit.

After resting, the spirit is diluted to 42% ABV before bottling. The result is a spirit that defies easy categorisation: Made like gin. Drinks like whisky. Hard to place, harder to forget. Something entirely its own. That's why it carries the Roke classification: a spirit defined by vapour infusion, archival reference, a rogue element, and no fixed recipe. Not a brand. An open category.
