Sailing at dusk

Steeped in story.
Anchored in craft.

We build things the slow way: spirits, books, gear, and experiences from people who'd rather make something real than follow the crowd. From Devon shores to wherever the wind takes you.

Crafted where the tide meets the trail

Driftwright & Cooper started with a bottle, but it was never just about spirits. We're building a world: stories worth telling, gear worth owning, experiences worth remembering. The Saltwater Cowboy Way isn't a slogan. It's how we decide what's worth making.

Our first brand, Tuerto, makes spirits the way Jack learned to make them: slowly, honestly, with respect for the people who came before. The Cask Adrift series is where that vision comes to life. Jack's Drift, the first release, is also the founding expression of Roke, an open classification for spirits that cross boundaries.

Jack's Drift

Plum & Rum Cask Botanical Spirit

The first release from Tuerto's Cask Adrift series. Inspired by Czech slivovice, vapour-infused with Citra hops, coriander, fresh orange peel, and organic Earl Grey tea, with rich plum character and rested on rum-seasoned oak.

Made like gin. Drinks like whisky. Hard to place, harder to forget.

Nose: Bright citrus and floral hop aroma with soft stone fruit and bergamot
Palate: Plum sweetness, oak spice, light bitter herbal structure
Finish: Long, drying, botanical finish with rum warmth and fruit echo

Our Philosophy

The Saltwater Cowboy Way

Everything we build is shaped by these principles: what we bottle, what we write, what we make, what we share.

Craft Before Commerce

We build slow, small, and with purpose. Guided by tradition, not trends.

Story as Substance

From label to legend, every element we create tells a story worth remembering.

Sustainability with Intent

Our materials are recycled, reclaimed, or biodegradable. Not because it's fashionable, but because it's right.

Stay in the Drift

New bottles. New chapters. Dispatches from the workshop and the water. We don't send much, but when we do, it's worth reading.
