First Bottle, First Customer: Jack's Cut Finds Its Home

Every brand has a first sale. Ours went to Derrick, aboard Cosmic Dancer. Jack's Cut was what he wanted.

Jack's Cut is the higher-proof cut from the same Jack's Drift batch, bottled at 45% ABV before the rest is diluted down to 42% for the standard release. Only a small volume is set aside this way each batch. They also come hand dipped in wax, with a driftwood and copper pendant on a leather cord, in a bespoke hessian bag.

Eleven years ago, employees, friends, and family came together to gift me my first still. That single act set everything in motion. A production run in Devon. Licences earned the hard way. A brand built around Captain Jack Tuerto and the Saltwater Cowboy Way. And now, a first customer willing to be part of the story before most people even knew it existed.
